During your visit we will have a general discussion to find out your needs. 

A complete examination may follow and may include the following:

1.  Medical and dental history review.

2.  Periodontal examination including probing, plaque and calculus      

     levels and review oral hygiene habits.

3.  Evaluation of teeth including any requirement for fillings and status of         

     existing fillings. General xrays may be taken.   

4.  Review of occlusion or the way the teeth meet and slide against each

      other.       

5.   Examination of the skin inside the mouth.

6.   Examination of the jaw joints.

Further special tests may include;

1.  Xrays

2.  Pathology tests

3.  Saliva tests

4.  Full Periodontal charting

5.  Study models

6.  Photographs

We will always try to be on time, except occasionally in emergency situations where we may run 15-30 minutes late.  We ask that you give us 24 hours notice if you are unable to attend so that your appointment may be given to another patient.
